Hospital Policies
Appointment policy
To be courteous of your time and give each patient sufficient time with the veterinarian, we operate primarily by appointment. Emergencies shall always be first priority, which may inevitably cause appointment delays. We will make a sincere effort to see each appointment in a timely manner.
We request new clients arrive 15 minutes prior to the appointment time to fill out information on your pet(s) and take a tour of our lovely facilities.
Drop-off policy
For your convenience, we have drop-off appointments available. If you make a drop-off appointment for your pet, we request that they arrive at the facility by 9 am. The doctor or staff member will call you as soon as the pet is ready. In general, most drop-off pets will be available after 5 pm.
Restrain policy
We require all pets be on a leash or in a carrier while they are on the MVAH grounds. This ensures the safety of all pets and their owners.
Payment options
We provide estimates for all surgeries and hospitalizations. If you have not received an estimate, you are welcome to request one at any time. Please take into account that unexpected events can occur during a procedure, which may add additional charges.
We accept debit card, credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express) and cash. To continue to provide premier service, payment is required at the time services are rendered.
When unexpected illness strikes a pet, unexpected expenses strike as well. MVAH understands this and is able to make special arrangements through the CareCredit program. It takes 5 minutes to complete the application and it will allow you to break down your payments into 6 monthly installments. You can either apply online yourself or at the hospital.
